Hot Day, Hot Chips

Today was the second scorching hot day in a row (that doesn't happen too often here in Scotland believe me!) so the Mister and I didn't want to waste it hanging around the house. We took the bus up the Fife coast to Anstruther.

Anstruther was originally a fishing village, and is home to the Scottish Fisheries Museum, (which we popped into albeit briefly..just for the gift shop!) but its main industry is now tourism. Pleasure craft moor in the harbour, and there is a Royal National Life Boat station based here (we went in to view the craft and visit the gift shop...I like gift shops!!!).

We also couldn't miss the award-winning fish and chip shop, Anstruther Fish Bar. We enjoyed some very tasty haddock!!
